A 3-Step Routine to Help You Combat Dry Skin, This Winter

Winter is not kind to our skin, is it? And if you’re anything like me you’ll go to great lengths to keep your face hydrated throughout the season, but completely neglect the rest of your body. This quickly results in dull, dry and itchy limbs – plus the dreaded “flaky legs”.

The problem is though, that during the winter months it’s so cold that no one wants to spend an extra 10 minutes in the bathroom, stark naked, applying lotions and potions. Because you’d start to get frost bite!

So I’ve come up with a speedy, 3-step routine to combat dry skin, this winter. Follow all of the steps if you have the time, or handpick one or two rituals that you can easily add into your daily shower session…

If you have five minutes to spare…

Use a dry brush (along with the following two steps):

There are soooo many benefits to using a dry body brush every morning, before you step into the shower. Dry brushing helps remove dead skin cells, reduces ingrown hairs, boosts circulation, and overall gives you smoother, healthier-looking skin.
