The Weekend Reading List

Weekend Reading List 233

Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week. The news cycle has been completely bonkers for the past few days, hasn’t it? I’m still wrapping my head around the college cheating scandal, trying to make sense of the latest Brexit headlines, and questioning whether J.Lo’s massive engagement ring will give her hand cramp (it looks heavy).

Here’s a roundup of some of the best links from around the web, to get you caught up over the weekend…

Alex Stedman of The Frugality shares her relationship with money in this honest and candid blog post.

This week I read Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. It took me a little while to get into the story, but once I did I fell in love with the New York Times bestseller. I didn’t want it to end.

I love a good sweet and savoury combo, and this citrus salad looks irresistible!

“I Didn’t Have Sex for the First Two Years of Marriage.”

6 spring cleaning hacks for lazy girls (seriously, white vinegar and water has been a total game-changer in my life!)…

Killing Eve Season 2 premieres next month. And here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season. I’m SO excited!

Is anyone else confused by the college scam that lead to Felicity Huffman’s arrest? If so, here’s a thorough guide to the college cheating scandal.

Transition into spring with H&M’s covetable, faux-suede biker jacket.

In case you missed it: Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman announced their separation on Instagram, earlier this week.

Serial‘s Adnan Syed will not be getting a new trial.

How to embrace rejection (the Elizabeth Gilbert quote at the end of this piece is brilliant).

I love the “A Week of Outfits” series on A Cup Of Jo, and Sukhie Patel is my latest style crush. I love the way she plays with print and colour!

And, speaking of style crushes, this is my favourite Instagram account, right now…

  1. I can’t wait to have a read of all of these! Especially intrigued by “How to embrace rejection” x
