The Weekend Reading List

Weekend Reading List 231

Happy March 1st! It feels like February has flown by in a breeze. And this week has been a busy one for me. I’ve been prepping for a cool video shoot that’s taking place next Monday (I can’t wait to share more details with you soon). Along with bouncing between the usual roster of blog writing, project planning, meetings and heaps of emails.

It’s felt great to be so productive, but I can’t wait to crash out on the sofa and catch up on some reading, this weekend. I’m currently nearing the end of Force of Nature by Jane Harper, which is an enjoyable and fast-paced thriller. And after that I plan to pick up Sally Thorne’s romance, 99 Percent Mine.

The Oscars took place on Sunday. And, as always, the best fashion moments were saved for the after parties. Here are some of the strongest looks from the night. Which was your favourite?

And, speaking of Awards Season, Bohemian Rhapsody star Lucy Boynton was the undisputed queen of red carpet beauty, this year. Here are some of her best looks.

3 effective abdominal exercises that you can do at home.

Step inside the Portland home of this interior stylist (I love her use of print and texture).

I would very much like to tuck into a batch of these brown butter Nutella chocolate chip cookie bars, this weekend. Who’s joining me?

This belted linen tuxedo dress is top of my wish list, right now.

Do you keep a journal? I’ve never been able to get into the habit of writing a daily diary, but I always think it would be such a nice thing to look back on, years from now. So I might have to take a few tips from this beginner’s guide to journaling and find my writing mojo…

This is the quickest way to become more confident.

The 5-day sale is running until the end of this weekend. So if you’ve had your eye on something special, now is the time to pounce!

Emma Thompson just refused to work with a movie executive accused of sexual misconduct. Can we please have more celebs like Emma, please? (And, more importantly, less creepy dues in positions of power…)

P.S. If you’re not already, subscribe to the Coco’s Tea Party Book Club newsletter. The March edition goes out next week.

Lucy Boynton always looks amazing on the red carpet! Leith Clark is doing such a great job with her. And she’s sooo beautiful, she looks like a living doll!

  2. Vanessa says:

I’m so glad you mentioned Lucy Boynton because she absolutely killed it this awards season! She’s such a beauty and seeing her on the arm of Rami Malek is a total dream. I love them together!
