The Weekend Reading List

The Weekend Reading List

Happy Friday! How have you found the first work week of the year? I’ve been easing in gently, and it’s felt pretty good to be back at my desk. I’m really excited about the blog posts that I have planned for January, and yesterday Monica and I started to work on the seventh season of the Let’s Discuss (which will be coming to you in early spring).

As it’s a new year I’ve also slightly adapted the format of The Weekend Reading List, allowing it to become a little bit more conversational. I hope you like the change…

Have you started watching Tidying Up with Marie Kondo on Netflix yet? I’ve been binge-watching it all week!

It was so excited to see someone I’ve worked with for years featured in Into The Gloss’ Top Shelf series, this week. Lovely Bec Wilson, Beauty Director at The Communications Store. She knows her stuff – so read and take notes!

When I grow up I would really like to live in a house like this

These cropped jeans are sitting at the top of my wish list, right now!

Buzzfeed’s feature on how millennials became the burnout generation has been shared a lot this week. I’ve been saving it for the weekend, to read with my Saturday morning coffee.

This writer took CBD oil daily for her anxiety, and the results were pretty interesting.

Have you been taking part in Monica’s “Month of Positive Action“? It’s a great way to make January more enjoyable.

I read the January Coco’s Tea Party Book Club book, The Bankers Wife, this week and loved it. It’s honestly the most exciting thriller I’ve read in years! I now cannot wait for the TV adaptation with Rosamund Pike.

I got a little teary-eyed when I read this story. Four best friends decided to share a tombstone. It’s marked with all of their names and one word, “FRIENDS”.

Have you chosen a word for the year yet? Mine is “thrive”…

  1. I started watching the show yesterday and I’m obsessed.

  2. Valerie says:

Can’t wait to start watching that tv show! It’s going to be so satisfying to watch 🙂
