Weekly Wish List | Stuart Weitzman OTK Dupes

Stuart Weitzman Over the Knee Dupes

Tiered midi dress by Topshop | Over the knee boots by Mint Velvet | Swing coat by Warehouse | Captain hat by Marks and Spencer | Stripe cardigan by Topshop | Star sign T-shirt by J.Crew | Star scarf by Chinti and Parker | Studded skirt by River Island | Shoulder bag by J.W.Anderson

They say you should never shop online after having a couple of glasses of wine. And I also think it’s wise to avoid shopping after a break-up. I’ve made some shocking impulse purchases over the years in an attempt to cure a broken heart (the most ridiculous of which is a giant, ceramic stapler shaped like a Dalmatian). And I have a break-up to thank for my Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots. I absolutely adore them, but never would have spent that much money on a pair of shoes if I’d been in a healthy state of mind.

You don’t have to go through a break-up and spend upwards of £500 to get the look, however. There are much smarter ways to invest in the trend… Mint Velvet have a beautiful pair of suede OTK boots in their Autumn/Winter collection. They’re still an investment, coming in at £199, but that’s less than half the price of the near-identical Stuart Weitzman boots.

Also on my radar, this week, are J.Crew’s cool horoscope T-shirts. You can view the entire collection here – the Taurus tee is my personal favourite. Plus, I’ve fallen head-over-heels for Topshop’s tiered midi dress and Marks and Spencer’s captain hat. I’d wear them together, with a pair of black, pointed-toe ankle boots!

  1. I adore Mint Velvet’s designs, but too many times I have found that the price tag is just not worth it in terms of quality!

Haha, if you scroll through my Insta feed it pops up every now and then xx

  3. cocos_tea_party says:

    Aren’t they gorgeous?

It’s exciting to start dressing for A/W, isn’t it? I kind of wish the season wasn’t so long though. Because I enjoy Sept, Oct, Nov and December. But by January I’m always so fed up of layering and want summer clothes again haha
