Weekly Wish List: A New Season Selection of Daywear

Star Print Maxi Dress

Spring Daywear and the Star Print Maxi Dress

Embroidered wrap dress by River Island | Floral print sleeveless top by GANNI | Wide leg jeans by Warehouse | Gold-plated bangle by Isabel Marant | Cargo jacket by H&M | Cross body bag by Topshop | Star print maxi dress by Norma Kamali | Red ruffle skirt by Oasis | Black button-down blouse by New Look | Scalloped sandals by Chloé

Spring 2018, is that you? Have you officially arrived? I’m starting to feel like it’s finally safe to pack away my heavy winter coats and chunky knits, and begin planning my spring/summer wardrobe. And this week there are so many delicious new season pieces topping my wish list.

First up is the star print maxi dress by Norma Kamali, which is stretch-jersey and insanely flattering (just check it out on the model). It’s a great day-to-night piece, as you can wear it with a cargo jacket and flat sandals during the day, then belt the dress and add heels for a glamorous evening look.

I’ve also fallen for Oasis’ ruffle skirt, which is super flirty and fun, and adds interest to a basic black tee. It could even work for the office, this summer, if you pair it with a button-down blouse.

And every summer I like to invest in an embellished cotton dress that will work for both the beach and the city. Last year it was this Next number (which I can’t wait to pull out of storage). And this year I think it’s going to be hard to top River Island’s embellished wrap dress. I’d style it with Chloé’s scallop-edge sandals for the perfect high/low fashion mix!

Which spring/summer 2018 pieces are you coveting, right now? Leave a comment below to have your say…

  1. Loving the wrap dress! I’ve gone for a couple of cute playsuits on Asos and then some wideleg palazzo pants (for planning my holiday in Croatia – I leave on Saturday! So excited!!) Shopping for holiday clothes is part of the fun!
