ASOS’ floral print coat is one of my favourite items of clothing. This is partly because it’s the only piece in my wardrobe that has ever been complemented by a celebrity (I wore it to a lunch LK Bennett hosted last year, and Rosamund Pike asked where it was from). But it’s also a firm favourite because the print is so cheerful – and in the UK, where you have to wrap up between September 1st and April 30th, you really need a feel-good coat.
I’m surprised ASOS haven’t brought the style back for Spring 2014, because the coat was so popular when it launched last year. I’ve been looking online for something similar (partly to share with you, and also because I want another floral coat), but so far nothing has jumped out at me. Have you spotted any lookalike pieces this season?
And whilst we’re on the subject of wardrobe favourites, it seems like the perfect time to mention my suede Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots. I’m obsessed with them! If the weather is dry I wear them without fail (they go with everything), and if it’s raining I sulk all day because we have to spend some time apart. I’m actually not sure what I’ll do when it gets too warm to wear knee-length suede boots. Cry, most likely…
