The Spring Fragrances I Can’t Stop Spritzing

Jo Malone Wild Flowers and Weeds

{This post features gifted product} | It’s not often that I write about fragrances on Coco’s Tea Party. Why? Because I find it near-impossible to accurately describe perfumes and colognes. And, on top of that, everyone has such a unique experience with scent – what I love you might hate, and visa versa – that it’s always felt safer to steer clear of fragrance reporting altogether.

However, I’m so unbelievably excited about the limited edition Wild Flowers and Weeds collection from Jo Malone London, launching tomorrow (March 1st), that I couldn’t resist sharing the details with you…

Fans of Jo Malone London will know that every spring they release a limited edition lineup of five 30ml fragrances, all in beautifully-designed bottles. And the 2019 collection, Wild Flowers & Weeds, was inspired by British canals.

Now, I know what you’re thinking… Canals? Weeds? It doesn’t sound very glamorous. But trust me: these colognes are STUNNING. It’s my favourite Jo Malone London collection to date (and that’s saying a lot, because I adored 2016’s Herb Garden line).

The fragrances in the Wild Flowers & Weeds collection are as follows (pictured above, from left to right):

Nettle & Wild Achillea – This is probably my favourite scent in the lineup, as it reminds me of 2016’s Nasturtium & Clover, which I wish Jo Malone London would reissue.

Cade & Cedarwood – Another favourite of mine. This is sultry and a little bit smoky.

Willow & Amber – And I also adore the Willow & Amber cologne, which mixes two of my favourite notes: vetiver and amber.

Lupin & Patchouli – This is the one and only fragrance in the collection that I wouldn’t wear (it’s a bit too floral for me). However, I’d definitely burn the fragrance if it came as a candle.

Hemlock & Bergamot – I don’t usually like floral scents, but this blend of mimosa and bergamot is so light and pretty. I’ve been wearing it on a near-daily basis for the past month, and it’s been receiving lots of compliments.
