Clothes I Want to Wear: Tomas Maier Resort 2015

Tomas Maier Resort 2015

There are collections that change the direction of fashion completely, and then there are collections that you just really really want to wear. The Tomas Maier Resort 2015 line is the latter.

It’s almost as if the lookbook was created especially for me. It features all of my fashion favourites: a Sienna Miller/Elle Macpherson lookalike model with undone tawny blonde hair, navy skinny jeans, floppy felt hats, cosy knits, easy-to-wear black dresses and chic ballerina flats. This how I plan to dress throughout Autumn/Winter ’14…

Thankfully it’s really easy to buy into the Tomas Maier look. You just need to invest in a few key wardrobe basics, and they needn’t be overly expensive. But it’s important to remember there’s a very fine line between effortlessly elegant and blend-into-the-background boring, so approach the style with caution.

Wardrobe Basics

Are you also loving the look of the Tomas Maier Resort 2015 collection? Or is it a bit too classic and simple for your taste? Let me know…

  • I love the pea coat, making me quite excited about AW. This is why I love british weather xxx

  • I rarely ever wear jeans as I find them uncomfortable but this is making me wonder if I’m missing out…

  • Unnur Olafsdottir

This looks very Icelandic, all black and serious looking, but I have found that my fellow Icelanders who dress in all black and come across as cold and unfriendly are usually the most warm hearted and wonderful people! I love it!!

  • I love this Tomas Maier’s collection! You can see his attention to detail in these simple, chic but wearable clothes and the bags are the same. I really like the cut of the low rise trousers and the pointed ballerina pumps!

The ballerina pumps are just perfection, aren’t they? Simple but not like any others out there somehow.

      • I agree, that’s the trait of a great designer isn’t it, just tweaking a classic to move it on and get it just right and make it apear new!

  • Really love the ballerina pumps!
