When was the last time you spoilt yourself for no reason? I kept my spending to a minimum throughout January and much of February, in an attempt to get the year off to a frugal start. But slowly I’ve noticed my reserve slipping. And I’m sure it has a lot to do with all of the spring 2017 drops hitting stores right now.
Do I need another sweater? Absolutely not. But it hasn’t stopped me from coveting H&M’s “Soho N.Y” pullover. I love that biscuit-y brown hue, and the slimline fit is so flattering. I’d pair it with Topshop’s tulle hem jeans, which also caught my attention this week. Throw the duo together with a pair of Converse sneakers or mid-heels and you’ve got yourself a winning weekend outfit!
And if you set a New Year’s Resolution to buy less clothing this year, so are looking for an alternative way to treat yourself, why not accessorise your home with a stylish coffee pot? I first set eyes on Bodum’s copper cafetiere whilst staying at Monica Welburn’s earlier this month, and it’s now top of my wish list. It doesn’t even matter that I don’t drink coffee any more. I want it badly!
