This year London has been treated to a fairly warm October. And I’m so grateful that we haven’t been catapulted straight into our winter coats! Easing into the season has felt much more satisfying, and I’ve revelled at the chance to experiment with light layers.
Right now, my go-to look is a neutral knit worn under a lightweight utility jacket, skinny jeans or a midi skirt, and suede ankle boots. It’s comfortable and casual, yet still looks polished. (Side note: I definitely think you can get away with wearing white jeans in autumn/winter if you pair them with earthy and neutral tones).
I’m Wearing: Jacket by Mint Velvet (gift) | Cashmere knit by John Lewis & Partners | White jeans by Donna Ida (past season) | Boots by Mint Velvet (gift) | Clutch by Elizabeth Scarlett (gift) | Sunglasses by Jimmy Fairly (gift)
Personally, I don’t think any fall wardrobe is complete without a cosy cream, camel or taupe knit. And below I’ve handpicked 9 of the best neutral knitwear buys for autumn 2018. Which is your favourite style?
