3 Things You Need to Know About Beach Waves

How to Get Beach Waves

You wouldn’t need to be a detective to identify my favourite hairstyle. Just take one look through CTP’s archives and an obsession with beach waves will quickly become apparent. It’s my go-to look, whether I’m styling my hair at home or getting a professional blow-dry in salon, because it compliments almost every outfit you could imagine.

The only problem is I try not to use heat on my hair more than once a week. And Blake Lively’s method of tying damp hair up in a bun overnight has never worked for me. It turns out that’s because my hair isn’t long enough for that technique, but in my latest Headmasters video I discover how to get beach waves with and without heated appliances. Take a look…

Honestly, those Björk-style buns really do the trick and create lovely soft waves. Give them a try if you have mid-length/short hair – I’m sure you’ll be impressed with the results!
