Channel Emma Stone’s Style For Party Season Pizzazz

Emma Stone Lanvin

Do you know who I’ve really missed this year? Emma Stone. She’s kept a pretty low profile throughout 2013, with minimum red carpet appearances and only a handful of magazine covers. It’s been okay – as we’ve Jennifer Lawrence to crush on instead – but Emma was everywhere in 2012, so there were withdrawal symptoms at first. And, for that reason, I’ve decided to squeeze an Emma Stone post in before Christmas. Just think of it as my gift to you. So in true ‘I can make a blog post out of any old nonsense’ style, here’s a look back at Emma wearing a Lanvin dress to The Croods premiere, in October.

I’ve always liked it when strapless dresses are layered over plain T-shirts. And, with the addition of the floral Lanvin necklace, Emma’s red carpet look was particularly cool. Copy her style over the holidays by giving your favourite strapless frock a new lease of life. And – for an extra twist – why not pair a strapless top with a pair of skinny, black trousers? I love Elizabeth and James’ peplum design, which will look great with or without a white tee layered underneath. Snap it up now so it’s ready to party on New Year’s Eve!

And, back on the subject of Emma Stone… you’ll be pleased to hear she has four new movies scheduled for release in 2014. Yippee! I hope this means we’ll be seeing lots more of Emma in the coming months. I’m expecting magazine covers, red carpets, talk show appearances and more entertaining comments about Ryan Gosling.

Yay to featuring Emma Stone! You are so right – she has been missed! The layering of a dress over T-shirt is very Teen Vogue, so obviously I love it!
