Isn’t it crazy to think there are only two months left in the year?! I’m feeling ridiculously underprepared for November and December. And this is mostly because there’s currently a dramatic lack of chunky knits in my wardrobe.
During the winter months I practically live in chunky knitwear. And I tossed out the majority of my collection in an over-enthusiastic bout of spring cleaning, this April. So I need to build up supplies again ASAP. H&M’s colour block polo neck jumper is currently sitting at the top of my wish list, as it looks so polished and fashion-forward. I’d team it with wide-leg jeans and ankle boots for a cosy, daytime look.
This week I also have my eye on Compañía Fantastica’s A-line swing dress. The rust orange hue is very on trend right now, and it also scores points for wearability because it will look great with opaque tights. (It’s surprising how many A/W dresses demand bare legs). Plus, I can’t resit Topshop’s cosy boucle coat. It makes me think of teddy bears and, really, is there anything more comforting than a cuddle from a teddy bear? I think not.
