The Burberry Front Row AW13: What Rosie, Olivia and Kate Wore

The Burberry front row was packed with celebrities, this afternoon, when the brand presented their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection at London Fashion Week. British actress, Kate Beckinsale, flew in from LA for the occasion and had a long chat with Les Misérables director, Tom Hooper, before the show began. Kate is known for looking super groomed at all times, but I think Rosie Huntington-Whiteley actually out-glossed her at this event. And that takes some serious skill…

Dressed in a statement red Burberry suit, Rosie looked absolutely stunning as she watched fellow Brit models Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne strut their stuff on the runway. She sat beside Freida Pinto and Rita Ora, with Olivia Palermo a few seats down. I’m pretty sure Kate, Rosie and Olivia aren’t allowed to sit together, as the universe might implode if their polished-to-perfection bodies come into close contact.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Buberry front row without some cool music stars. Tinie Tempah looked great his classic Burberry trench coat and Tom Odell treated guests to a surprise performance, for the finale. I was told to expect a big surprise at the end of the show (Romeo Beckham was my first thought) and Tom’s appearance was really special.

The Burberry front row is always exciting, but this season everyone’s eyes were firmly glued to the runway, once the show began. The Autumn/Winter 2013 collection was absolutely breathtaking, so look out for my second Burberry post, which will be coming soon.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Opens Burberry’s Hong Kong Store

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley accompanied Christopher Bailey to the opening of Burberry’s new flagship Hong Kong store, last night. The 25-year-old model wore a satin corset top and a matching pencil skirt from the label’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection. It’s the first time Rosie has been spotted out and about in the new Burberry Prorsum collection, and I doubt it will be the last. She is the face of Burberry Body, after all. It’s her job to give all of the latest styles a whirl – lucky lady!

Rosie flew in for the Pacific Place store opening from California, where she celebrated Halloween, earlier in the week. Her costume consisted of a floral headpiece, cat-eye-glasses, suspenders and a fur coat. I like her fancy-dress efforts, but I much prefer the sleek Burberry look – it’s classic red carpet glamour!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Presents Her M&S Lingerie

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s long awaited lingerie collection for Autograph at Marks & Spencer finally launched today. The LA-based model was in London this morning, presenting her debut underwear collection to selected press. I was lucky enough to attend, so got to see Rosie talk through her inspiration, alongside head of lingerie at M&S, Soozie Jenkinson. I’m sure that by now you’re all pretty familiar with the collection, so I won’t bore you with more product images. Instead, take a look at Rosie Huntington-Whiteley‘s exclusive M&S lingerie presentation…
As you’d expect, Rosie was totally gorgeous, wearing a fitted black dress with a pair of pointed courts. She talked at length about her inspiration for the collection and described the detailing on each piece. And, surprisingly, she seemed quite shy and rarely looked up from her notes. 
Earlier in the morning Rosie took a look at her designs on display in the M&S flagship store, on Oxford Street, and after the press presentation she headed out for an autograph signing. Busy!

Katy Perry & Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Wear the Same Bottega Veneta Dress in ELLE Magazine

The UK and US editions of ELLE magazine have two very different cover girls for September 2012. Model/actress/underwear designer, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, covers ELLE UK and pop star/statement dresser, Katy Perry, was photographed for ELLE US. Rosie H-W and Katy may be two totally different fashion personalities, but they both modelled Bottega Veneta’s crystal-embellished Autumn/Winter 2012 dress (available on Net-A-Porter, minus the sparkle) for their ELLE shoots. So now you all know what I’m going to ask… who do you think wears it the best?
My vote goes to Rosie, as I feel like Katy’s cover was let down by the hot pink and bad hair…

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley For ELLE UK September ’12

British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley covers the September 2012 issue of ELLE UK. This is Rosie’s second ELLE cover, as she also posed for the July 2011 issue. On the newsstand edition Rosie models a look from Dolce & Gabbana’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, and the accompanying editorial is said to include Marios Schwab, Jil Sander and Burberry, as well as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s own lingerie designs for Marks & Spencer. Sounds exciting…

Personally, I preferred Rosie’s 2011 ELLE cover, but that doesn’t mean I don’t also like her September issue cover. It’s a great shot and I’m now excited to see the subscriber’s copy. I’ll update as soon as the subs cover is released. ELLE UK‘s September issue is out August 1st.
