Coco’s Tea Party Featured in Marie Claire UK’s April 2013 Issue

Mila Kunis is looking gorgeous on the April 2013 cover of Marie Claire UK, promoting her latest movie, Oz: The Great and Powerful. The Craig McDean shoot is a reprint from W’s March 2011 issue and I’m actually really pleased to see it once again, as it’s Mila’s strongest fashion shoot to date. If you’ve already picked up your copy you will have seen my mini photo-spread in the Style section of the magazine. I was one of four industry insiders picked to model S/S 2013′s trickiest trends, and tested out the ‘Twisted Lady’ look. The uber-feminine style is so far off from the way I usually dress, but Marie Claire’s Lucia Debieux called in an amazing selection of pieces which were so much fun to wear!

My favourite outfit has to be Day 4′s Rebecca Taylor jacket, which was paired with a neon Marc Cain skirt. The look was so Whitney Port and is definitely something I’d wear again. Take a closer look at my MC shoot here, or pick up the April issue, on newsstands now. Thanks Marie Claire and Lucia for the fab feature!

The Oz the Great and Powerful Premiere: What Mila, Michelle & Rachel Wore

oz the great and powerful premiere

Last night the Oz the Great and Powerful premiere took place in LA. I’ve been following the film’s promotion closely ever since the first trailer was released last summer, and was very excited to see all three leading-ladies posing together on the red carpet yellow brick road. Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz all play witches in Disney’s Wizard of Oz prequel, but their looks last night couldn’t have been less witchy if they tried.

Rachel Weisz – aka Mrs James Bond – slipped into an orange Victoria Beckham design which beautifully accentuated her figure. Paired with slicked back hair and a coat of sheer lipstick, Rachel’s VB number looked modern and grown-up. In a complete contrast to her on-screen sister, Mila Kunis rocked a vintage-inspired prom dress by Dolce & Gabbana. The off-white shade is a tricky colour to pull off, but Mila managed to make it work. I love the purple Sutra earrings she accessorised with!

And last but not least there’s Michelle Williams. The actress chose an embellished Prada design for the occasion, and also supported her longtime stylist, Kate Young, by carrying one of her clutch designs for Target. Michelle’s look was completed with heavy black eyeliner and a sweeping side-fringe. It’s quite ’60s, no?

I’m struggling to chose a favourite look here, as all three women went in completely different style directions. I love the old-school elegance of Mila’s dress, but I’m not 100% sold on the colour. If it had been a blush pink or baby blue shade she definitely would have stormed ahead of her cast mates.

The “Oz: The Great and Powerful” Cast Cover InStyle US, March 2013

Mila Kunis Michelle Williams rachel weisz InStyle March cover InStyle USA have really gone to town with their March 2013 issue, shooting three stylish actresses for the cover. The stars of Disney’s upcoming fantasy-movie, Oz: The Great and Powerful, were photographed for the magazine in an array of spring’s prettiest pastel frocks.

Rachel Weisz models a lace Valentino gown, Mila Kunis is dressed in a baby blue pleats and Michelle Williams takes centre stage in a romantic pale pink draped dress. The complementary cover looks work so well that I’m now curious to see if the trio of stars continue to go for similar styles on the red carpet. I do hope so!

The Wizard of Oz prequel hits cinemas on March 8th and I’d be surprised if Disney don’t give it a big promotional push. If we’re lucky we should get at least three separate premieres – amounting to nine different red carpet looks. It’s shaping up to be a fashionista’s dream, as the cast’s fabulous costumes are already causing a stir. Do you like InStyle‘s March 2013 cover? Will you buy this issue?

Mila Kunis Covers Interview Magazine August 2012

Mila Kunis covers Interview magazine‘s August 2012 issue. The actress and Miss Dior face was photographed for the magazine by Craig McDean, and models a selection of denim cut-offs, leather biker jackets and grungy layers. This is definitely one of Mila Kunis’ edgiest shoots to date…

James Franco – who stars alongside Mila in Oz: The Great and Powerful – conducted the interview and asked about Hollywood’s double standards between male and female stars. Mila’s response?

“An actor goes crazy in a hotel room, gets trashed, throws a bench, breaks a window, and he is considered a rock star. An actress does that and she’s sent to rehab and is thought to have problems and issues and can’t get a job.”

She makes a very smart point…

Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz Star in "Oz The Great And Powerful"

Yesterday the trailer for Disney’s prequel to The Wizard of Oz was released online, and it’s pretty exciting. Oz: The Great and Powerful won’t hit cinemas until March 2013, but the trailer looks amazing, so expect a frenzied countdown to begin. Most exciting of all, though, is the fact Oz: The Great and Powerful has three super-stylish actresses in the cast. The witches of Oz are played by Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz. Don’t they look fabulous?
Michelle Williams as Glinda
Mila Kunis as Theodora
Rachel Weisz as Evanora
The costumes by Gary Jones look amazing (I love Mila’s wide-brimmed raspberry hat), but the real fashion extravaganza is set to take place on the red carpet. Let’s all cross our fingers for a worldwide promotional tour, because I’d like to see as many glamorous premiere outfits from Michelle, Mila and Rachel as we possibly can! The countdown to March 8th begins…
