Illustrator and Filmmaker, Quentin Jones, Teams Up With Hoss Intropia

Quentin Jones Hoss Intropia Spring 2013

Every season Hoss Intropia announce a new ‘Intropia Woman’, and for Spring/Summer 2013 the title has gone to fashion illustrator and filmmaker, Quentin Jones. In the past Quentin has worked with Chanel and Victoria Beckham, so you’re probably familiar with her style even if you didn’t know her name. Fitting a spot of modelling around her work, Quentin is the latest face of Hoss Intropia and has also produced a limited edition handbag for the Spanish brand. The canvas tote features a playful cartoon face design – as illustrated by Quentin – and cool, studded leather handles.

All proceeds from the Quentin Jones handbag will be donated to the Creative Handicrafts Fair Trade cooperative in India, which teaches women the skills they need to create products for sale. Hoss Intropia have collaborated with the Creative Handicrafts project since 2007, and all of the limited edition totes were created by their employees in Bomba

It’s a pretty cool collaboration, right? And the Quentin Jones handbag design is super cool. I’ll be rocking it this season!

Shopping For: Statement Sweaters and Leather Dresses

Every now and then an item just grabs your attention, and Topshop’s embroidered tiger sweater is one such piece. Sure, I’ve never felt my wardrobe is lacking a giraffe print sweater with tigers across the chest, but now I know it’s out there I want it! This week I’m also loving Hoss Intropia’s leather dress; the fitted shape is so chic and it would look great worn strappy black sandals, gold jewellery and a tan. What’s on your wishlist this week?

Shop The Edit: 1. Embroidered tiger sweater by Topshop // 2. Orange skull slippers by Alexander McQueen // 3. Leather mini dress by Hoss Intropia // 4. Faux-leather biker jacket by Warehouse // 5. Doorknocker earrings by ASOS // 6. Wrap leather bracelet by Gojana // 7. Pashli handbag by 3.1 Phillip Lim

Forget Christmas Shopping, Here Are 6 Hot Buys Under £50

If you’re currently saving the pennies for Christmas shopping you can still enjoy a cheeky splurge this weekend, as I’ve tracked down six must-have fashion items, all for under £50. Sure, it’s nicer to think of others, but when Dorothy Perkins’ adorable jewel print mini skirt is a bargain at £28 it’s hard not to treat yourself too! I suggest sticking to the “one for you – one for me” rule. At least for this weekend…

Are you starting your Christmas shopping this weekend? Or are you still far too busy updating your own Autumn/Winter wardrobe? Let me know…

WIN a New Season Hoss Intropia Handbag {Exclusive}

I love Hoss Intropia‘s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, so I’m very excited about this giveaway. The team will kindly give one lucky Coco’s Tea Party reader this pink leather satchel clutch, worth over £200. The bag comes with a detachable leather strap, so you can use it as a clutch in the evening and a handbag during the day. I love the fact it’s big enough for all the essentials (purse, phone, lipgloss etc) but leaves no room for the junk most of us carry around every day. Do I really need last week’s issue of Grazia and three pairs of sunglasses with me at all times? I think not…
So, carrying on from that theme, to win the Hoss Intropia handbag simply leave a comment on this post answering the following question:

What is the strangest/most unnecessary item you carry around in your handbag?
Obviously I’m not allowed to answer, but seeing as I have a fake Carrie Bradshaw drivers license in my handbag at all times (seriously, don’t ask!) I think I’d be difficult to beat…
T&C’s: Entry closes on the 23rd of October and the author of most bizarre/hilarious answer will win the handbag. Please leave some form of contact address – whether it’s a blog URL, Twitter handle or your email – with your comment, so I can get in touch if you win. Good luck! Shop Hoss Intropia HERE.

COMPETITION NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ENTRIES.
Congratulations to Lauren, who carries a sachet of dried porridge around with her!

Hoss Intropia Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection Preview

It’s hard to start thinking about your Autumn/Winter wardrobe when you’re still waiting to wear your new sandals, but Hoss Intropia‘s Fall 2012 collection makes it easy. Last month I was treated to an early look at the A/W collection, as the Hoss Intropia team were in London, and I was so impressed. I’ve finally got my hands on the lookbook, so I can share some images.
The red cowboy-style heeled boots are currently sitting at the top of my wishlist, along with the teal wool coat, mannish knit cardigan and the navy blue silk mini dress. See more from Hoss Intropia’s Fall 2012 collection after the jump…

Do you like the look of Hoss Intropia’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection? Which pieces are your favourites? And remember you can now shop online too!

In My Wardrobe: Hoss Intropia & Miguel Palacio Heels

When I saw these Miguel Palacio for Hoss Intropia sandals in the Madrid flagship store a few weeks ago I had to have them. They’re just so cool, right? They almost look like they belong in a comic book. Because I always have exceptionally cold feet I haven’t been able to wear them just yet, but once my toes are warm enough I’ll be breaking them out! I plan to pair them with cropped skinny jeans and an oversized silver tank top from H&M for their first outing.
What do you make of my Miguel Palacio for Hoss Intropia heels? How would you style them?
