Dakota Fanning Covers US Glamour’s March Issue With Curly Hair

At first glance I thought US Glamour’s March 2013 issue was covered by the star of The Carrie Diaries, but it’s actually Dakota Fanning with a perm. The 18-year-old actress was photographed for the cover by Ellen von Unwerth, and models a Marc Jacobs Mickey Mouse sweater with a sequined skirt by Jonathan Saunders. Although it’s nice to see Dakota in a different style of dress (she usually sticks with pale pastel gowns and poker-straight hair) I wish Glamour had opted for a more sophisticated cover look. The combination of ringlets and Mickey Mouse is a bit too tween-y for my liking…

Emma Stone Talks “Writhing Around All Over Ryan Gosling’s Bed” With Glamour UK

Emma Stone Glamout UK Ryan Gosling Emma Stone covers the February 2013 issue of Glamour UK. The cover shoot is a reprint from the US edition, but it’s still worth picking up a copy, as Emma is on top form in the exclusive interview. She’s currently promoting her latest movie, Gangster Squad, where she plays Ryan Gosling’s love interest for the second time in two years. Obviously Glamour asked about Ryan (how could they not?!) and this is what Emma had to say:

“I can still remember the first time I auditioned with Ryan, for Crazy, Stupid, Love. My friends took me to the airport that night and when they asked me what I’d been doing all day, and I said that I’d be writhing around all over Ryan Gosling’s bed, they were like: ‘Right – get on that plane!’ I guess that is pretty weird to hear.”

The 24-year-old actress also spoke to the magazine about her wardrobe for Gangster Squad. The film is set in 1940′s LA, and Emma is decked out in glamorous Mary Zophres costumes. “Some of the dresses were genuine 1940′s – they just retailored them,” Emma told Glamour. “Oh, and I fit a period -seven shoe, which is always a good bit of knowledge to have.”

Gangster Squad is released on Jan 10th (UK) and Jan 11th (US). The LA premiere took place last night – Emma wore Lanvin and Ryan somehow managed to make a brown suit look good. Rita Ora Covers Glamour UK January 2013 in Christian Dior

Rita Ora covers the January 2013 issue of Glamour UK, modelling a floral print Christian Dior design and Susan Caplan Vintage earrings. The 22-year-old British singer has won over the fashion industry with her bold, adventurous, and often unpredictable style, so she was the perfect choice to model the Resort 2013 collections! Check out Rita’s editorial and interview when the issue hits newsstands on Thursday…

And, in other Rita news, the singer has apparently split from her rumoured boyfriend, Rob Kardashian. According to The Sun (a great source, I know…) the two couldn’t handle their long-distance relationship, and Rob has since unfollowed Rita on Twitter. Looks like she won’t be appearing in Keeping Up with the Kardashians anytime soon then!

Cheryl Cole Wears Chanel on Glamour UK’s December Cover

Cheryl Cole covers the December 2012 issue of Glamour UK. Usually I’m not a fan of the 29-year-old’s magazine covers, but the Glamour team have nailed it with this shoot. Cheryl looks super cute modelling a messy top-knot and feathered pink Chanel dress – and she’s definitely getting into the Christmas party spirit with her gold camera. The playful and pretty cover works perfectly for Glamour magazine.

Speaking in the behind-the-scenes video Cheryl revealed her plans for Christmas, saying: “I’ll hopefully be spending Christmas with all the family at home, maybe in Newcastle, eating and drinking lots!”

Eva Mendes Models a Givenchy Rottweiler T-Shirt for Glamour

Eva Mendes posed for the November 2012 issue of Glamour Paris, modelling a rottweiler print T-shirt by Givenchy. The 38-year-old actress is currently promoting the Thierry Mugler fragrance Angel, which is why she’s covering Glamour’s beauty issue. This is definitely an unexpected cover look for Eva, but I absolutely love it! You can find a similar Givenchy design on LuisaViaRoma, but snap it up quick if it’s on your wishlist, as the rottweiler print designs sell out at the speed of lightening…

Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks Covers Glamour UK

Glamour UK‘s November 2012 issue celebrates some of the best actresses on TV today, and Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks has scored a cover. I think this is one of her strongest covers to date. I love the fact her printed dress matches her hair colour – it will definitely stand out on the newsstand. And who would have guessed that Christina Hendricks is a TOWIE fan…
Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara and Downton Abbey actress Jessica Brown Findlay also have covers this month. It’s great to see Glamour celebrating the brilliant talent on TV, as female characters are usually much more interesting than the “cute girlfriend” roles in presented films.
