Is 2013 set to be the year models finally make a return to magazine covers? UK Vogue have only featured models, so far this year, and now Flare magazine are getting in on the act, shooting Charlotte Free for their March cover.

Charlotte Free first came to attention at the Spring 2012 shows, when her fuchsia hair was spotted walking down a number of key runways. Since then she’s worked with H&M, ASOS, Maybelline, Forever 21 and Topshop, so it’s no surprise she’s now covering glossy magazines…

And while I have no doubt Charlotte’s modelling career will continue to go from strength-to-strength, I did roll my eyes at the “next Kate Moss” cover line. Really Flare, are we still using the “next Kate Moss” title every time there’s a hot new face on the catwalk?

All fashion clichés are easily forgiven though, as I do like the cover. It’s a cheesy pose, of course, but I love the colour scheme and styling. If you’re searching for a similar pair of striped skinny jeans check out this ASOS pair. They’re pretty similar and are only £35. Bargain!
