Anna Wintour would be proud… The Met Gala took place over 10 days ago, and Emma Watson still appears to be in the punk mindset. Last night Emma made her Cannes Film Festival red carpet debut, at the premiere of The Bling Ring. The 23-year-old actress chose an ivory and black Chanel couture design for the occasion, and accessorised with a punk-lite delicate earcuff. I love the fact she kept her look elegant and low-key, sticking to one single accessory. It’s perhaps the best she’s ever looked, don’t you agree?

This week I’m going crazy for statement prints (what’s new there?) and am incredibly excited about the Celia Birtwell for Uniqlo collection, which launches tomorrow. The price points are amazing so expect to go a little bit crazy if you check out the full line tomorrow. And although I love the cherry red floral leggings pictured above, I will not be wearing them as trousers. Why? Because leggings are not trousers! It’s a very important style rule.

Eye-catching prints aside, I’m also loving Kenzo’s cool military print skirt and H&M’s premium leather handbag (£69.99 in select stores). Both items are heading to the top of my shopping wishlist – along with the fabulous Chanel Vintage earrings. The bling, OTT jewellery design reminds me of J.Lo and Carrie Bradshaw. That’s a pretty good mix, right?

Hailee Steinfeld sat front row at Chanel’s Spring 2013 Haute Couture show, yesterday morning. The 16-year-old actress dressed up for the occasion, wearing a leather pencil skirt, a fabulous cardigan from the Paris Edimbourg collection, a baker boy cap and a bright yellow resin clutch. Her look was fun, kooky and a little bit Harry Potter (it’s the double “C” crest that does it – totally Hogwarts!). Sure, the outfit may not be for everyone, but I think Hailee is a breath of fresh air. This is exactly how Hollywood teens should be dressing! And if this doesn’t bag her a Teen Vogue cover nothing will…

Amanda Seyfried Wears Chanel Haute Couture For Vanity Fair

I’m surprised Amanda Seyfried hasn’t taken any of the key December 2012 covers, considering the Les Misérables promotion is now in full swing (perhaps an ELLE UK January cover is in the works). Instead, the 26-year-old actress was photographed by Vanity Fair for a special online Haute Couture editorial. You can see the stunning editorial in full at vanityfair.com now. My favourite images feature the Chanel AW12 couture collection. Amanda should definitely be invited into Karl’s circle of Hollywood beauties…

This editorial shows that Amanda can hold her own in a big fashion story, so I’m sure it will lead onto lots of interesting projects for the New Year. I have a feeling 2013 is going to be big for Amanda Seyfried!

Keira Knightley Goes Topless for Allure’s December Cover

Keira Knightley covers the December 2012 issue of Allure. The 27-year-old actress posed topless for Mario Testino, covering up with a sequined Chanel jacket and a pair of un-zipped Tom Ford trousers…

I think it’s a beautiful cover and I’m pleased to see Keira working it for flat-chested girls around the world. It’s rare that we see anything below a C-cup in Hollywood, and Keria joked about this with Allure, saying:

“They always pencil in my boobs. I was only angry when they were really droopy. For King Arthur, for a poster, they gave me these really strange droopy tits… I thought, well if you’re going to make me fantasy breasts, at least make perky breasts.”

Dakota Fanning Covers InStyle UK’s December 2012 Issue

Dakota Fanning twiddles her hair on the December 2012 cover of InStyle UK. The 18-year-old actress is currently promoting the final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, and I must say it makes a nice change from seeing KStew and Ashley Greene on all the covers. Dakota is wearing Chanel Resort 2013.

Speaking to InStyle about the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal, Dakota said: “Everyone thinks they have the right to, you know, publicise the struggles and sadness and heartbreak and all of that. It’s like, ‘Why do you think you are the authority to judge people’s experiences?’”

I can’t wait to see the accompanying editorial, as I love Dakota’s cover. I’m definitely buying this issue! It hits newsstands on November 8th, and you can watch the behind-the-scenes video HERE.
