Shoe Loving: Caroline Issa Designs for L.K.Bennett London

On the surface it may not look like the Duchess of Cambridge has that much in common with Tank fashion director and street-style-icon, Caroline Issa. However, there is one thing that links them: L.K. Bennett shoes. Caroline has designed a truly fantastic capsule collection for the British brand, and whilst it doesn’t include any of Kate Middleton’s favourite nude courts there’s plenty to get excited about. Inspired by the beaches of Thailand, the six-piece collection is heavy on bright embroidery and features sandals, stilettos, kitten heels, shoe boots, loafers and a cool clutch bag.

I absolutely adore the ‘Parrot’ ankle-strap stilettos [above] and can’t wait to see how Caroline styles them over LFW. Her inspiring outfits are constantly snapped by the fashion paparazzi, so I doubt they’ll go unnoticed by Tommy, Scott & co if they make an outing. Those of you hoping to add these heels to your own fashion week wardrobe will be disappointed, however, as they don’t go on sale until the last day of LFW (Tuesday, February 19th). Get in line before jetting to Milan!

“My style philosophy has always been about letting your shoes do the talking,” Caroline Issa says. “With this capsule collection, the shoes will complete any office or cocktail outfit in seconds – and bonus: I’ll just have to look down at my feet to be transported onto the beaches of Thailand!”

The Caroline Issa x L.K Bennett London collection will be available online and in selected stores from February 19th, priced from £245. Are you a fan of Caroline’s style? Would you wear her L.K Bennett collection designs?

Uniqueness & Caroline Issa’s Dinner at Bocca di Lupa

On Monday evening Tank magazine’s Caroline Issa hosted a dinner for the Italian label Uniqueness. Designer Alessandra Facchinetti and the Uniqueness team flew into London for the intimate celebration at Italian restaurant Bocca di Lupa. After a few glasses of champagne and a quick gossip (random topics of conversation included professional darts players and sailing) we sat down for the amazing three-course dinner. I opted for the shaved radish salad to start, sea bream baked in salt for the main and then the gelato cake. Here are the pictures:

Are you a fan of Uniqueness? Have you eaten at Bocca Di Lupa before? I recommend a visit!
