Beyoncé Covers US Vogue’s March 2013 Issue Wearing Givenchy

Beyonce US Vogue March 2013 Givenchy coverAs expected, Beyoncé covers the March 2013 issue of US Vogue. The 31-year-old superstar was photographed for the magazine by Patrick Demarchelier and models a Givenchy design on the cover. She’s definitely a fitting cover subject for the power 2013 issue, don’t you think?

In the accompanying editorial (which you can see HERE) B models a selection of breathtaking evening gowns. Now I’m not going to complain about a bit of red carpet glamour, but I was hoping this US Vogue shoot would feel like an extension of Beyoncé’s Instagram feed, and give us an intimate look at her personal style. I think Vogue missed a trick there…

But placing mild-disappointments aside, this is a fabulous cover and I’ll definitely be racing out to purchase a copy as soon as the issue makes its way across the Atlantic. Do you like Beyoncé’s second US Vogue cover? Are you excited to add this issue to your magazine collection?

I thought she was wearing balenciaga???

    • Ella Gregory

It looks like the Balenciaga skirts, but apparently it is a Givenchy design. The look wasn’t in either label’s SS13 runway collections, so I’m going with the Givenchy credit for now.

  • Lizzie

Beyoncé is an attractive woman, and the cover isn’t bad. The timing is awful though, as so many in the US have “Mrs. Carter” overload.

  • Yes I’d love to get the issue, although I do agree that I’d love to see more of her personal style through her editorials.

  • Reina

Disappointed with the cover. The shot of Beyonce is lovely, but I was hoping for something a little less cold. Also, its MUCH TOO like last year’s Adele cover. Cover model wearing a black top (or partially) and color tones of GREY, WHITE and RED. Its old.

  • Reina

Also, the color tones are practically the same as last month’s cover with Rooney Mara. I’m a little miffed. Same old.

  • I’m not a fan of her or this cover but she does look pretty. I think her last Vogue cover was much better, she looked absolutely stunning. I agree with you about the editorial btw, they really missed a chance to do something a bit different, how many times has she done something like this before?
