The Whistles Autumn/Winter 2014 collection was shown in London townhouse, this season, and the presentation was so popular with press and buyers that it became difficult to move from room to room. This was no mean feat either, considering the brand showed around the same time as Christopher Kane, Roksanda Ilincic and Erdem. But industry insiders absolutely love Whistles, so no one thought twice about rushing back-and-forth across the city to get a look at their latest designs. Because, after all, these are the clothes that every one is going to be wearing come September…

The following six looks were my favourites. I imagine the pleated midi skirt and the sea green ombré coat will generate waiting lists, so get in line as soon as possible if you want a piece of the action. And the knitted grey sweater and navy high-waisted trousers are great wardrobe staples. Just please don’t wear them with socks and pool slides – not even the models could pull that look off!
Do you like the look of this collection? Which pieces are your favourites? As always, leave a comment and let me know.
