Remember my post on New Year’s Resolutions at the end of 2013? I vowed to invest in matching lingerie sets this year, but so far that has not gone to plan. It’s almost April and I still don’t take much of an interest in what goes under my clothes. However, I’ve just had a look at the M&S lingerie collection for Spring/Summer 2014, and it’s inspired me to finally get to work on that resolution…
Unfortunately I’ve never had much luck shopping for bras at Marks & Spencer, as small cup sizes don’t appear to be their strong suit. But they’re still the nation’s favourite destination for underwear, so hopefully many of you will be able to enjoy this fabulous collection. Here are five of the SS14 lingerie highlights (the sporty styles in black and grey are my favourites).
And, whilst we’re on the subject of lingerie, here are some more of the best places to shop:
• Victoria’s Secret and Triumph do the best fittings (and both do offer a nice selection of styles suited to flat-chested girls)
• H&M, Cos and & Other Stories don’t go overboard with padding. Those Swedes know a thing or two about great undies!
• The Outnet is a brilliant source for designer lingerie. Try on your favourite brands in your local department store so you’re confident with sizing, and then order away at a fraction of the price.
• L’Agent by Agent Provocateur is a diffusion line designed by Penélope and Mónica Cruz. The styles are sexy but still pretty, and the prices are more affordable than AP’s mainline.
Do you like the look of M&S’ spring 2014 lingerie collection? Which styles are your favourites? And where are your favourite places to shop for underwear?
