Ironically, given the name of this blog, I don’t like tea. I’ll drink every variety of coffee on offer, but have always despised the taste (and smell) of tea, especially traditional English Breakfast Tea with milk and sugar – yuck!
However, last week Harvey Nichols sent me a food parcel to celebrate their new HN Riot of Colour collection, and I’ve quickly become addicted to their Pep Talk Herbal Tea. It’s the perfect afternoon pick-me-up, as apparently it’s traditionally used to fight colds and boost energy levels. The blend is made up of lemongrass, ginger, lemon peel and lemon balm, and apparently tastes just as good chilled as it does piping hot (I’ve yet to try it iced, but it’s on my to-do list).
I’m so surprised at how much I like Pep Talk tea that I’m tempted to try another HN blend. There are six different flavours in the HN Riot of Colour collection and I think Peppermint Power Tea could be next on my list. See the full selection at harveynichols.com. All £6.95 for 14 bags.
P.S Harvey Nichols are also doing porridge – the chocolate & fig flavour literally sounds like the best thing EVER! If you’ve tried it already let me know what it’s like.
