I wouldn’t normally interrupt London Fashion Week coverage, but US Vogue‘s October 2013 issue has just been revealed and it features Sandra Bullock. Like the rest of the world I love Sandra. She just seems so nice. And niceness is seriously underrated! She was photographed for the magazine by Peter Lindbergh and models a sequin gown from Marc Jacobs’ Autumn/Winter ’13 collection. We haven’t seen Sandra Bullock on the cover of US Vogue for a long time (since October 2006, to be exact), but she’s no stranger to the magazine. This is the fifth time she’s posed for their cover.
I’m not totally sold on the hair (it reminds me of Kris Jenner, if I’m honest), but I love everything else about the cover and can’t wait to see the accompanying editorial. Keep an eye on Vogue.com, as they’ll be releasing the images soon.
Sandra Bullock is currently promoting her new movie, Gravity, which is already being tipped for Oscar success. The film tells the story of an astronaut and a medical engineer who are lost in space, and Sandra and George Clooney are the only cast members. Check out the trailer – it looks brilliant and absolutely terrifying.
Are you pleased to see Sandra Bullock back on the cover of US Vogue? Do you like the look of Gravity? Let me know.
