The Selfridges Bright Young Things initiative (which showcases some of the UK’s most exciting rising stars in fashion and beyond) has just kicked off for its second year, and this time around NARS are getting in on the action. They’re searching for a new makeup talent, who will win a one-to-one artistry session with NARS’ International Lead Stylist, Jane Richardson. It’s really easy to get involved, with NARS setting weekly challenges on their Facebook page. Here are all the details:
- Each week NARS will post a weekly challenge inspired by one iconic bright shade on their Facebook wall. Followers will have one week to upload and share their brightest beauty look photo submission to Instagram, using the hashtag #NARSBYT listing which NARS products they have used.
- One winner will be selected each week, over a series of five weeks. Five winners will each receive a limited edition NARS makeup bag with 5 products (total retail value: £100). And one overall winner will be chosen from the five finalists to receive a one-day artistry session with International Lead Stylist, Jane Richardson – including travel expenses and the entire NARS Fall colour collection.
I’m Wearing: NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Gobi | NARS The Multiple in Puerto Vallarta with a touch of NARS Blush in Taj Mahal | NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Mediteranee | NARS Lip Gloss in Wonder (my new obsession – it’s such a great shade and makes a change from red and nudes)
This week’s colour is coral, and I’ve had a go at creating my own Bright Young Things look using NARS makeup. To submit your own coral creation simply upload your selfie to Instagram listing all the products you used along with the hashtag #NARSBYT. And if coral isn’t your colour don’t worry – a new shade will be announced each week, so keep an eye on the NARS Facebook page for details. [This competition is open to UK residents only]
Do you like my NARS Bright Young Things coral makeup look? Are you a big fan of NARS makeup? Let me know…
