I Think You’ll Like… The Smashbox Cosmetics “Love Me” Collection

Just before Christmas I wrote about how excited I was to discover Smashbox Cosmetics’ Photo Finish Primer (which I’m still using every day), and I’ve just had a chance to play about with more of their products. Earlier this month Smashbox released a limited-edition collection in collaboration with New York street artist, Curtis Kulig. The “Love Me” products all feature Curtis’ iconic “Love Me” graffiti tag, and play with vivid, high-impact colours.

I was kindly given a few products to try and I have to say, my love affair with Smashbox is growing stronger by the day. I really, really like the “Love Me” collection. There are two eyeshadow palettes in the collection (“Admire Me” in pinks and browns and “Entice Me” in greys and blues), and each includes five richly pigmented colours. Immediately I was drawn to the golden neutral tones, as that’s my makeup comfort-zone, but I experimented with the “Entice Me” shades and was quite surprised by the results. I’ll definitely continue to use both colour palettes day-to-day.

The Smashbox “Love Me” collection is now available in Boots stores and online at boots.com in the UK. If you’re reading from the US you can find Smashbox Cosmetics at Sephora. Here are five of my favourite “Love Me” products, which I definitely recommend trying. Just think of it as an early Valentine’s gift to yourself…
