I’d say I’m a pretty skilled online shopper – I can track down the best discounts, use promo codes to my advantage and know which days various websites get new stock. The one area I still struggle with, however, is the pre-owned market. I can’t cope with bidding and always worry the fabulous Marant/Chanel/Gucci bargain I’m about to buy is actually a not-so-fabulous knock-off.
This is why I was thrilled to discover Vestiaire Collective. The online retailer specialises in previously-owned designer fashion and they’re very strict on quality control. In fact, all products sold through Vestiaire Collective are manually checked to make sure they’re genuine, in good quality and “deemed desirable”.
The Parisian website launched in the UK last spring and now has over 700,000 users. It’s a great place to sell unwanted designer items (find out how here) and, obviously, is also amazing if you’re looking for a stylish, guilt-free purchase…
Above is an edit of some of my favourite pieces currently available, which includes (from top to bottom): Balenciaga’s mint green handbag // Miu Miu’s pale pink pumps // Current Elliot’s zebra jeans // Maje’s tweed jacket // Alexander Wang’s silk dress // Prada’s leather handbag // Isabel Marant’s animal print pumps
