Lauren Conrad is currently promoting her new book, a beauty guide called – you guessed it – Beauty. As part of the promo the 26-year-old covers the November 2012 issue of Allure magazine, modelling a 3.1 Phillip Lim bikini top and a Christian Dior skirt. In the accompanying interview Lauren revealed some of the story lines in The Hills were slightly exaggerated (shock! horror!), explaining:
“Brody and I did date. It was pretty brief. There was definitely editing to drag it out.”
This isn’t surprising, but it’s still quite upsetting. I was hoping for a Lauren and Brody reunion, but now it looks as likely as Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey getting back together. My reality TV dreams have been crushed once again! How come Heidi and Spencer are the only ones making it work? Seriously…
A rekindled Hills romance may not be on the cards, but fans of the star still have her beauty book to look forward to. Lauren’s “go-to guide for all things beauty” is now on sale (it’s currently £8.99 at Amazon) and she’s going on a book tour. This is good news because it means we’ll get more goofy Instagram pictures, like this one above, and plenty of her cutesy girl-next-door outfits. I do love a good LC fashion moment!
