The Key Looks: I loved the first exit – a sleeveless safari jacket with oversized pockets, worn with fitted trousers that flared out below the knee. It was seriously chic. The bias cut dresses, accessorised with wide lace-up leather belts, were also incredibly elegant. I’d like to see Cate Blanchett wearing one of Todd’s SS13 dresses to a photocall or low-key premiere.
Lessons Learnt: Safari doesn’t necessarily mean shapeless and boxy styles. Todd’s designs focused on the waist, creating a strong – yet feminine – silhouette.
