Marios Schwab is one of London’s leading red carpet designers, so obviously I was looking forward to his Spring/Summer 2013 collection. This season Marios was inspired by bees and the honeycomb structure they produce, which resulted in patterned knitwear, feminine pleated dresses and raffia fringing. I wasn’t terribly keen on the use of fringing, but I can’t wait to see the elegant pleated designs on the red carpet. Here are of some of my favourite SS13 looks…
The blush pink mini dress with the Swarovski crystal beading had a 1920′s feel about it, so I obviously thought of the upcoming Great Gatsby promotional tour. It would be interesting to see Carey Mulligan wearing it – perhaps in a darker jewel tone.
Were you a fan of Marios Schwab’s S/S 2013 collection? Which looks are your favourites?
