Last night Elizabeth and James posted this photo of Mary-Kate Olsen wearing their military parka on Facebook. It was one of my favourite looks from the Fall 2012 Elizabeth and James collection, so I was pleased to see it’s made its way into MK’s wardrobe. I can’t wait to see what she pairs it with.
The Elizabeth and James camouflage design is available at Barney’s New York and Harvey Nichols, but if you’re not a fur wearer (I’m not) I have three fabulous fur-free alternatives for you. Three Floor’s khaki parka is my favourite, as it’s readjustable, so you can wear it as a coat or jacket. That makes it a worthy investment!
And on the high street I’m loving Dorothy Perkins’ navy wool parka. The grey paneling and gold details make it look much more expensive that it really is…
Will you wear a parka this Autumn/Winter? Which of the featured designs is your favourite?
