It’s been a while since we were last treated to a Carey Mulligan shoot, so I’m pleased to see the British actress on AnOther magazine‘s Fall/Winter 2012 cover. Carey was photographed inside a giant plastic bubble (just a normal working day then) by Craig McDean and models a selection of Prada and Miu Miu designs in the accompanying editorial.
This is great cover for Carey. As you know, I usually prefer the more glamorous editorials, but you can’t deny how striking and bold this image is. And, unfortunately, it might be the last we see of Carey, for a while. The Great Gatsby was originally scheduled for a Christmas release – putting Carey in the running for US Vogue’s December cover – but it’s since been pushed back to summer 2013. Super annoying, considering I’ve already watched the trailer a zillion times…
