Testing Louis Vuitton’s Yayoi Kusama iPhone App

I switched from a BlackBerry to an iPhone at the beginning of the year and I’m still discovering the must-have iPhone apps. Obviously I’m an Instagram addict and I also love the IMDB app for impressing people with useless facts about celebrity birthdays (I share mine with Jackie Chan), but very few fashion apps have grabbed my attention. However, the Louis Vuitton “Kusama Studio” app sounded fun — and different — so I downloaded it to have a little play…
Similar to Instagram, you upload and image to the free app and it automatically creates a “Kusamarized” picture for you. You can chose between Kusama’s signature dots and waves and then share your photo on Twitter and Facebook. It’s a great way to interact with the brand.
Here’s my Yayoi Kusama polka dot portrait. I definitely think it could do with some more colour, so I’m going to test the app out on some brighter outfits. It’s a great way to waste time!
Have you downloaded the Louis Vuitton Yayoi Kusama iPhone app yet? Do you like the idea?
