I’m sure British TV stylist Gok Wan is a lovely guy, but his obsession with belted waists put me off the look for good. Or so I thought. After years of wearing shapeless dresses in protest I’m suddenly loving the fitted style again – and it’s all because of the Altuzarra Resort 2013 collection. Every exit in Joseph Altuzarra’s impeccable collection was belted, and it looked totally fresh. A belted waist doesn’t solve every style problem (I hate to break it to you, Gok), but it’s a trend we should all be revisiting for Spring 2013. I’m certainly going to give it a go…
