As you know, Elizabeth and James is one of my favourite brands. And when I say favourite I don’t mean in the fashion fantasy realms of Givenchy, Mary Katrantzou, Elie Saab etc - I actually wear Elizabeth and James pieces on a regular basis as they’re trend-lead without having a short shelf (or should I say wardrobe) life. So unsurprisingly I love the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, which is full of wonderfully wearable pieces that still make an impact.
Favourites include the brocade peplum top, dip-hem silk shirt (which according to Ashley is perfect for girls who want to hide their bottom) and fashioned-up parkas. And adding to Elizabeth and James’ already stellar selection of ready-to-wear, sunglasses, opticals, shoes and jewellery, a handbag collection is also on the cards for 2012. I can’t wait!
