Beauty Must Have: Bliss No Zit Sherlock Starter Kit

Throughout my teens I was lucky enough to escape problem skin (instead I suffered through years of braces). I had the odd breakout here and there, of course, but overall I’ve always had relatively clear skin. Until my luck ran out the week before London Fashion Week.

Just when I needed to look my best I had spots all over my chin and forehead. There’s nothing like a bit of bad timing, right? Thankfully my lovely friend working in beauty PR sent over Bliss’ complete clarifying system. The No Zit Sherlock starter kit includes a purifying cleanser, correcting serum and oil control moisturiser. After a couple of days using the three-step treatment I did start to notice a difference and my skin began to clear up.

I’ve continued to use the cleanser (following up with the serum and moisturiser when I remember) and have noticed that whilst my T-zone still feels quite oily there are no new pimples. It’s not a dramatic change, but I definitely feel like it works. Plus it doesn’t leave my skin feeling red and sore – which many clarifying cleansers I’ve tried in the past have done. The No Zit Sherlock starter kit is available for £25 at Bliss.

Have you tried this product before? What’s your fail-safe spot treatment?
