Confession: whilst the majority of fashion bloggers regularly hate on Katie Holmes’ style I’ve always been a fan. Admittedly there are times when she gets it wrong, but I would say seven-and-a-half times out of ten she looks great. Last night Katie was out on the red carpet with Tom Cruise, for the annual Vanity Fair Oscars party. She chose a sapphire-blue strapless gown from Elie Saab’s Fall 2012 Haute Couture collection and looked absolutely gorgeous.
This is without a doubt the best Katie’s looked in a long time. The colour is magnificent on her and I love the subtle embellishment on the bodice of the dress. Elie Saab is a genius! Let’s hope we see a lot more red carpet action from Katie Holmes this year.
