Currently I’m having a Michael Kors moment. In reality I only actually own one piece of Michael Kors – the gold watch everyone seems to have – but I lust after his sporty-chic designs all the time. The Spring/Summer 2012 collection was one of the New York highlights for me. Inspiration came from Africa, with animal prints, crocodile pouches and safari details forming the base of the collection. Although I loved it all, the styling of the swimwear will be what I remember for seasons to come. It was luxe, sporty and had a welcome sprinkling of Bond girl sexiness.
They may not have been the most wearable looks on the runway, but they certainly made a great statement. Who else loved the Michael Kors S/S collection?
