The wait is over, as Kate Moss’ much-anticipated US Vogue September 2011 cover has finally been released. I was hoping it would be phenomenal, and Mario Testino has not disappointed. The cover is beautiful. Hamish Bowles reports on Kate and Jamie’s wedding day for Vogue, getting a rare interview from the iconic British model.
Describing her wedding dress, Kate told Vogue it’s, “A classic Galliano, those chiffon thirties kind. I’ve lived in his dresses for years, and they just make me feel so comfortable. But it’s so much more couture, couture, couture. Oh, my God, the work that’s going into the dress!”
John Galliano also comments in the piece, which you can read now at Vogue.com. It’s also worth taking five or ten minutes out of your day to look through Testino’s photos. I think it’s fair to say Kate did indeed top the Royal Wedding. Here are three of my favourite Testino photos:
