Change is in the air at Chloé. First we saw the departure of Hannah MacGibbon and it looks like we won’t be seeing any more of Anja Rubik, Clémence Poésy and Raquel Zimmermann in Chloé’s fragrance ads either, as today the label announced it has signed two new faces.
Camille Rowe-Pourcheresse, the French actress and model, and British actress Imogen Poots will take on official modelling duties, shooting the new campaign with Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadinwill. Imogen’s name is already all over Twitter (which makes a nice change from tweets about Imogen Thomas, no?) so I’ve done a bit of necessary fashion research.
Imogen was last seen in Jane Eyre alongside Mia Wasikowska and has also stared in V for Vendetta and Me and Orson Welles. I don’t recall seeing her on the red carpet before, but I just found this Flaunt editorial, which proves she can model.
I’m sure Chloé will swap the Carrie Bradshaw-like curls for their trademark swishy seventies ‘do (and it looks like Imogen has that wave-y look going on naturally anyway) but I do think she looks absolutely amazing with the pink curls. She was photographed by Jessica Craig for Flaunt magazine and styled by Rose Forde.
I’m really excited to see the new Chloé ads. And Camille is gorgeous and very Chloé too. Are you pleased with Chloé’s choice of Imogen Poots?
